We took a break on Friday! We originally thought we'd drive to the beach but we had just gotten on the road and decided that an hour and a half to the beach felt too long. So we turned around and just went to the pool at the hotel. Lots of people but the kids had fun and us adults got to relax somewhat. Bron and Travis took the kids to get some seafood for lunch and then I REALLY got to relax. After 3 straight days of crazy theme parks, getting to be "alone" was amazing. The kids thought the seafood was the best thing they had all week and kept begging for it again. Travis and I attempted to do this challenge I saw on Instagram where he lays on his stomach and I stand on his back and do a little jump while he gets into a crouched position and then I jump again and he stands up a little more. And on and on until he's standing completely straight and I'm on his shoulders. Yeah right!! The video made it look so easy! We laughed a lot and I thought I would break him. We never made it past 4 hops but I'll take it! Travis is a good sport. So are Megan and Bron, because after that I coerced them into doing a goofy dance with us haha. The video cuts back and forth between Trav and I dancing silly and them dancing silly. At the end it shows all the kids standing in a group staring at us with incredulity and their mouths hanging open. It was so funny and got us all laughing. Megan's parents were especially amused! That night we left the kids at the condos to go to bed and us adults got dinner at a yummy seafood restaurant.
When we got home we found Olive asleep like this. What in the actual? Her poor husband.
