Disney World Hollywood Studios

We were on it and got to Hollywood Studios before it opened! We had the best parking. What I learned from this trip is that I'll never come back to this park or the Magic Kingdom. Much easier to just go to California and you get basically the same rides. We bought the fast passes again and that helped but man it's annoying booking each ride and planning out the day step by step. I felt like I was constantly on my phone looking at ride line times and mapping out the most time effective plan. Star Wars land was a hit for sure. I thought the best rides were Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railroad and the Slinky Dog roller coaster. The Mickey one is so cute and creative. It really caught me by surprise how fun it was. Same with Slinky Dog! Tanner and I rode that together while the older kids were off doing something else and I was genuinely laughing in delight. It was just that fun! We saw Beauty and the Beast and Elsa's show and both were amazing. The costumes, singing, dancing, comedy and acting were top notch. I loved them!

Tanner begged for one of these bubble makers at Disneyland last year. And he really pleaded for one at Silver Dollar City over the summer. But they are $30 dollars for heavens sakes! He was beside himself seeing them again. I figured it was time. He was a very happy boy! And we were all a little soapier.

There was an action type show with some explosions, acrobatics and fight scenes I'm sure the kids liked.

The Num Num cookie was NOT anywhere near as good as it was in California. Boo.

To end the night we walked a country mile to get to the water parade show with fireworks. All 5 million of us enjoyed it. Then, Travis stayed with the older kids to ride Tower of Terror and I took Tanner back to the car with me. He's a good dad! Tower of Terror can die a long, gruesome death. I hate that stupid ride. My feet were so happy in the car. It was a good day!
