When you live in the valley of the sun, you get to do slip 'n slides in October.
I actually looked forward to Weston's soccer practices. The weather was perfect and I just got to hang with this cute guy on a picnic blanket while Olive danced around. :)
That's a gnat on his nose!
Gorrrrgeous!
A little tipsy, but learning to sit up in the Bumbo!
We went on a double date with Jessica and Greg Warner to Ah-So, which opened up recently at the 202. Typical teppanyaki stuff, but it was fun and I even caught a veggie in my mouth when it was my turn, haha!
Practicing for the Primary Program.
The grandkids table at Grandma's house! Check out Scarlett's booster seat. ;)
We still love doing playdates with Lindi on Mondays. We got her extra long this time and went to Tumbleweed park while Collin was at his dance class.
Abbey's birthday lunch at... Oreganos!
Her favorite!
She's OUR favorite!
More fun
We took the kids to Vertuccio Farms. It wasn't easy to schedule it in, but as far as pumpkin farms go, I really do like this one, so we made it happen.
I even took Mr. Tanner on the train ride!! I wondered if they'd let me, but it was a 17 year old guy driving so what does he care? Lol. It was pretty fast and bumpy! I giggled the whole time hanging onto him!
This face, haha!
His toothless grin is my FAVORITE!!!
She could have done the zip line alllll night. And she basically did.
I took Rusty's baptism pictures. Handsome dude right here. His baptism was in November and they had a luncheon afterward at their house with burgers, Jalapeno Bucks pasta salad, baked beans, several desserts and a million other things. Can he get baptized again?!
Wrapping up the soccer season. We are quite the group. A family that sweats together, stays together.
Just working our way through downtown Gilbert. Finally tried Pomo's. Their pasta is homemade but what we ordered was cream based but felt more oil based. Eh. I like Nicos better.
Their pizza oven (in the background) is imported from Naples! Holy cannole! It was a very tasty pizza.
So sweet of Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Craig to come see the kids in the Primary Program! I think Travis's parents were maybe on another cruise... but Aunt Aubrey came to support them. Wish I had gotten a picture before she left.
Marcie hosted a FHE Halloween party that was really fun! She decorated everything super cute and had all the themed foods complete the night!
David is always so creative with their costumes. The big news story right now is that the Boy Scouts of America are letting girls join now. *eye roll* So he and Abbey dressed up as scouts! I was rolling!!
Della in her 80's aerobic costume killed it!!! She was too cute to handle!!
Travis borrowed his brother's pinata costume from years ago.
On actual Halloween night, we didn't drive to any grandparent's houses which made things so much easier. We started at a pot luck at the Shaw's house in Allen Ranch and did a round of trick or treating in their neighborhood. Then we did some in our neighborhood, hitting up the spooky houses that go all out with yard decorations.
Travis wore his Sheldon Cooper shirt (From Big Bang Theory) and I put on my grandma clothes with the accompanying saggy boobies. (sand filled socks tied around my neck) I think I got the most laughs and definitely made some people uncomfortable, haha. We walked over to the Tobler's house, who were having a party on the driveway, and there was a group of people gathered who noticed my costume. Without really thinking, I did a little shimmy, suddenly realizing it was a group of only men... including our bishop. Ohhhh, if you could have seen the look on Travis's face!!! I definitely crossed a line. Ooops. Guess I won't be called as YW's President anytime soon. ;)
Ahhh, making snow angels in your pile of candy. It's a good night.
Olive was the prettiest Belle you ever did see! It was really fun doing her hair for this costume.
Why does he look so grown up to me in these pictures?? Like a teenager almost.
Handsome Captain America!
Ohhh, the ninja! Someone commented that he was a dead ringer for his uncle Trevor in these pictures and I can totally see it! He was stoked to have his daggers. Half the fun is in the weapons.
Tanner's first Halloween!!! Do you know what he is?! Yeah... I didn't either at first. I just knew it was the stinkin' cutest costume ever and I couldn't walk out of Target without getting it. He's a NARWAL! The unicorn of the sea! I totally thought this was a fictitious creature but apparently it's a real thing, lol! I just remember there's one in the movie, Elf. At any rate, his horn plus that tail... I die from the combo!!
