While shopping on my birthday I came to the realization that my wardrobe is seriously outdated. We're not talking, "last season" old... more like 10 seaons ago. So even though the whole, embellished t-shirt fad is sure to fade quick, I had to try my hand at making a ruffled top.
I was pretty happy with the finished product... but I'll have to wait again through the trial of the washing machine to see if my efforts were for naught.
It was kinda fun to wear something I knew I made by myself, and since this baby was on sale at Target and I just used an old, nasty Shade shirt for the ruffles, this little number was only $5! Yahoo!

Way cute! You are becoming Miss Thrifty-I-Can-Make-It-Myself. I'm very very impressed!
Love the bed head look on Collin! And you are so crafty my dear. I'm very impressed with your sewing skills. My advice on the washing is to make sure you turn the shirt inside out. It will protect the ruffles!
You are so clever! I love the new shirt, and the dress! I really love the headless pic of you in it lol!
