So I was quite proud of this little old thing on Sunday. I've been wanting a high waisted skirt lately and haven't been able to find one. Then I saw on Pinterest (that site will be the death of me!) a tank top dress similar to this that I decided to copy {Mormon Style}. I don't think I can really say I sewed a dress because the top is just a t-shirt, but I'll say I put a dress together :) And when trying to figure out what jewelry would go with it, I remembered this necklace I made over a year ago! Aye-caramba I was happy!
Then I remembered I am still nursing. Full time.
Ugh! Sigh! Curses.
I have to turn into Houdini just to get in and out of this thing.
No matter.
I may have been half naked while nursing the babers, but that's what a nursing mother's room is for, right?!
Soooo, are you proud of me, Leah?!! Huh, huh, are ya?! :)
Let's just hope it survives the washing machine, cuz let's be honest... my sewing skills are lacking at best.

Way cute!!!! I think your sewing skills are great! Looks great on you. If in doubt of surviving the washing machine there is always hand washing! What is up with your Dad? I just heard about his Cali trip. Wow! What a freak accident. Did you hear about Russ at Lake Powell? What is happening in our ward?
That is way cute! Did you use a pattern or just pleat the fabric as you went?
Soo cute!
Hot dang check you out! I love love love the dress! That necklace goes perfectly with it! Please show me your ways... I take that back you probably don't ever want to sew with me again after our last experience hahaha
So, so, so cute!! I am super impressed! Crazy that your last summer is gone and done...it's such a weird feeling huh? And don't worry, I did think "this is the last time we will do this" waaaaay too many times our last year. It's just so hard to see those good times go!! It was good catching up with you the other day! We'll have to talk again soon.. Makes me feel like I'm not too far away from Buffalo:)
Very impressive. That is to funny about the feeding dilemma, those kids control everything don't they:)
Look at that hot mama! :) I am seriously so impressed that you did that. I always see things & want to try & create them, but I get too scared. So way to go! Want to make me one?! ;) tee-hee!
