Flagstaff

Flagstaff with the Evans was so much fun! Everyone drove up on Sunday, July 11, but me and the kids drove up Monday morning. Travis worked on Monday and Tuesday then drove up Tuesday night. We went to the movies, played tons of mini golf, swam every day, did arts and crafts, had a night of skits and minute to win it games, went on two hikes, got rained out at the lake, got rained out at the bike park, played pickleball, had a mom's only lunch and pedicures day, had an adult's only dinner out at Grimaldis and Sawyer and Dmitri got engaged!! We also tried out the new Canyon Coaster in Williams which was super fun and super expensive haha! I really enjoyed the evenings when us moms got together and ate ice cream and played board games. I also loved getting my favorite acai bowls from Local Juicery twice! The weather is so lovely and the kids are almost all to the age where they can just run off with cousins and not need constant supervision. Just a smidge of drama with the time share people trying to take advantage of Wayne and Paula. And maybe a few tears with sisters not getting included in the proposal. I mean, you can't have a full week with family and have it be all rainbows and daisies, right?! But we were so grateful for the chance to create memories with cousins and get outta the heat!
