William loves Kate (what's currently written on my Magnadoodle sign in the kitchen)

I have been so FED UP with all this royal wedding nonsense. I mean, its been on the news nonstop. From speculation on what designer will make her dress to interviewing the bloody shopkeeper from her home town! I had had ENOUGH! To the point of going on rants at the TV, demanding, "What makes them think they're so special?!" Give me a friggin' break. (I still planned on watching the affair... I'm not from Mars... I just was tired of the pre-event hoopla)
And then I turned on the TV at 7am this morning and saw Will and Kate standing outside Westminster Abby and every girly particle of me melted! I watched, entranced, as he escorted her to the Cindrella-esk coach to go to Buckingham Palace. She positively radiated in her gorgeous lace gown as she {pageant waved} to the thousands of adoring fans. And the kiss on the balacony! Travis groaned and mocked as I swooned. Oh to be a princess!! And drip in jewels and beauty. And wear those fabulous hats!! Why don't we wear hats like that??!! I would LOVE a big, tilted hat that made it difficult to get through a doorway. Sigh.
I didn't know my heart could change so instantaneously. Travis wondered where his real wife went. He had previously had an ally in his British disgust.

To celebrate I wanted to have tea and crumpets, but when I googled crumpets they appeared to be just homemade English muffins. Not that exciting. And I've never had a good herbal tea, so hot chocolate and scones it was! Pinkies up! :)

Agree & agree! I think every woman in the world was entranced by the whole thing. Our inner desires to be a princess were somewhat met by Kate marrying William. Thanks for having me over for 'tea & crumpets'! So fun!

haha, i think jael's mom was more excited for the royal wedding than she was for ours... or maybe even for her own! she was even more excited for the swedish royal wedding a while back. to quote a funny guy i met on my mission, "it was a beautiful, terrestrial wedding."

I think Kate is just what the royal snob family needed. William seems down to earth so I am glad he found somebody that suits him well. i hope she can whip the rest of them into shape. Especially the queen. On Regis and Kelly they showed a clip of her skipping over Camilla (Charles new wife) in the hand shaking line as she entered the Abby for the wedding. They said she is not a fan of her but even then I am shocked she had guts to do that on tv broadcasting to the world! Oh, the dress...not my fav but didn't think it was ugly. For what she paid for it I thought it could have looked a little more princessy

Oh my goodness, you took the words right out of my...fingertips? Well I was just goint to post about the royal wedding and it was going to be word for word exactly what you wrote, except I didnt get any crumpets and they kept showing chefs making them with jam and clotted cream on tv. Im totally going to copy and paste your post to my blog because you worded it so much more beautifully than I would have. ;)

Well I'm a freak because I didn't watch one second of the wedding! I don't give a rats behind about it. But if everyone else enjoys it that is totally fine, it is just not for me. I'm not a chick flick type of girl and I think it is out of control ridiculous. :) yep I sound like a grumpy old witch.

i LOOOOOVED IT! All I know is that I think her dress was classic and gorgeous. She was radiant! {and so was Pippa} I loved the way Will looked at her! ahhhh! The kisses on the balcony made my knees weak and I adored the entire thing. I started reading this post thinking it was all bad about the royal wedding and I was planning on punching you :), but luckily I had to change my mind.
