Reasons Why April 9th Was Da Bomb (diggity)

#1- We finally got our zoo membership!
And an even bigger bonus was skipping past the 1/2 hour + line that everyone else was waiting in just to get in, and go straight to the front since we were actually purchasing a membership.

The baby gorilla was out and she was pretty dang cute.
(And this baby monkey came too, but he slept the whole time!)

 #2- The sun was shining!!!
Oh my, I NEEDED the sun. I couldn't soak up enough. And since the boys were both napping in the afternoon (Collin took a 3 hour nap btw- hallelujah), I decided to go for a jog at the track. It felt GOOD. I don't typically enjoy running, but this felt amazing. Add some lunges and my legs are SORE! But it's a good kinda sore. The boys were still asleep when I got home and I started to crash in the living room, then thought...why not take this outside?! So I laid in the glorious sun another 45 min. and got myself a slight sunburn. Love. It.
#3- Easter goodness is now hanging from the trees!
Sis. Groscost's tradition continues! Eggs on branches makes me smile. And these two boys make me smile everyday!
 Collin looooves pictures.

#4- I got to spend the whole day with this guy!
(He digs getting his picture taken.)
I love being married to my best friend. Just spending time with him makes me happy.
It was just too nice to be indoors, so after hanging up the eggs, we tossed the football around then went for a walk.... to Dairy Queen. (Nothin' wrong with a buy one, get one free blizzard!... unless it's buy one, get 6 free-haha Dad... [he got punked on April Fools with that one])

#5- I found the {Reester Bunny} at Wegmans!! bahahahaha
I saved the best for last! I love Reeces anyway, but would have bought this just for the name. It kills me! Seriously, this kind of stuff cracks me up. I love a good play on words. Especially a cheesy one!
(And what a pleasant surprise to grocery shop on a Saturday morning, expecting a nasty crowd, but getting an empty store! Glorious!!! Me and Weglemans might be having our weekly date every Sat. at 9am from now on.)

That does seem like the perfect day, we had a rainy cold weekend here. Our ward easter egg hunt was done inside the church instead of outside because of the rain, but Kayda didn't mind and Payton had to skip it because she was sick. I love the eggs hanging from your trees I might have to steal that idea.

Uh Oh, the Lincoln Park Zoo. You better hide yo kids! Score, no more snow! Your grass is so green you would never know it was just winter over there. Happy tanning.
