2nd Annual (can I say that?) Lindblom girls trip to Salt Lake! My parents are so so generous to pay for this. Airfare, hotel (not just any hotel.. the GRAND America!) car rental and a day at Purify Wellness Center. Plus drinks at the pool and a couple dinners. We were so spoiled and it was SO fun.
Marcie and her Paw Patrol suitcase had us giggling!
We started with lunch at Caputos and an afternoon lounging at the pool.
Ran into the See it, Try it, Love it girls! At least, I think that's the name of their Instagram. I know one of their names is Sissy. They were very nice.
Jael recommended Mozz pizza and it was super good! Only problem was, I've been doing macro counting for the past 6 weeks and my digestive system didn't know what to do with all those carbs and fat. Actually, it knew exactly what to do. Cue me in the bathroom for the rest of the night. Ugh. The rest of the group got dessert at the Little America but I went straight back to our rooms.
A full day of yoga, sound baths, massages, the salt cave and infrared light therapy. I cannot describe how luxurious!! I was a relaxed puddle of joy. How did we get so lucky?! I truly felt so grateful and aware of what a tremendous blessing this was.
The three of us shared some Thai food for lunch when we had a little break between massages.
I fell asleep in the salt cave and my face print showed just how relaxed I was!
Red Iguana for dinner
Saturday morning, Shelley, Marcie and I drove to the temple to do initiatories. Their were no appointments at the Bountiful temple so we went to one near Christopher's house. I can't remember the name now. Maybe Jordan River? It was fun to see inside it. Then we got donuts and surprised Christopher and his kids! They were definitely surprised haha!
Then we met back up with everyone for a delicious buffet breakfast at the Little America. I wish I had 3 stomachs.
Time for shopping!
We went to Jolley's Corner boutique and I found two adorable dresses.
Then we went to the Food Nanny store and got some incredible cookies.
Parade of Homes was going on and I've never been before! We bought tickets and trekked out to a gorgeous neighborhood to look at some insane houses. The most beautiful designs, furniture and amenities. Some had full basketball courts inside or a skate park! My jaw was on the floor.
We ended the trip at Cubbys.. YUM... and then dropped Jael off at home and headed to the airport.
Someone on our flight kept opening up food of some nasty sort. It almost seemed like a toot that would never go away!! We survived. It was fun to see a picture of the men gathered with the kids at the pool together. It was Father's Day weekend so we got home late Saturday night in time to celebrate our awesome husbands who held down the fort while we got pampered on their special weekend.
