Tanner is in half day kindergarten at Leman Academy of Excellence with Mrs. Julie Stojanovic who is so kind and such a structured, disciplined, energetic teacher! When she puts him in the car at pick up, she always says, "Come back tomorrow! We're going to learn about .... fill in the blank!"
Olive is in 4th grade at American Leadership Academy with Mr. Fred Scanlan. She loves having him as a teacher and often comes home with funny stories about him. He seems like a happy, often goofy guy. He's a member of the church and keeps his triple combination at his desk. She said when they ask him questions he'll say, "What do you think?", trying to encourage them to use their brains to figure out answers.
Weston is in 6th grade at Greenfield Elementary. He rides the bus to and from school and has Mrs. Nicole Black for a homeroom teacher. He also has Mr. McGee for math. He likes having Mrs. Black and says she's really nice and lets them listen to music in the classroom during downtime.
Collin is in 8th grade at American Leadership Academy. He takes weight lifting which stresses me out when I hear his coaches making the boys "max out" on weights for grades. He loves his Spanish teacher, Mr. Hendrix (or Senor Hendrix, as they call him). He's a young, unmarried guy who seems to relate to the kids. Spanish is his last class, so Collin and his friends love to hang out after the bell has rung and spend extra time with him. Collin says every day when he comes into class, he happily calls out, "SENIOR HENDRIXXXX!!!" and I guess that makes him laugh and he's videotaped Collin doing it.
