Christmas Card 2015

Since you can't save digital copies of Shutterfly projects, I had to take a screen shot of our card and the dumb "Enter Text Here" couldn't be removed.
Evans- 2015
Our year is pretty much summed up by this
We moved. Again.
From Gallup, New Mexico to Gilbert, Arizona.
And while you might think it’s been all roses and Taylor Swift songs. Allow me to enumerate a few cons along with the pros

Pro: No more white winters!! (Picture me doing the happiest, ugly dance EVER.)
Con: None. (Maybe snowbirds.) Ok, I will miss the beautiful falls and springs. (NOT the Gallup wind.)
(All in all, we traded white winters for white people. Totally joking!!) ß--- This was included in only a select few cards by the way
Pro: Shopping. Ohhh, the shopping. I’ve found myself in a Super-Target Mecca, laden with tantalizing TJMaxxes and Hobby Lobbys aplenty!
Con: Travis is poorer.
Con: We miss the surprise Native American tribal dances in the produce section of Wal-Mart.
Con: No one asks me for money in parking lots. Ohhh wait.
Pro: Living by family!
Con: Living by family. (KIDDING! We feel so super lucky to be near Grandma’s, Grandpa’s, cousins and more! It’s been a dream.)
Con: Missing our Gallup family and friends. L
Pro: Homeless people are not a part of our daily life anymore.
Con: There are like 300 billion, (regularly sheltered people) here.
Con: I feel this strange need to get ready before going out now. Don’t worry, it doesn’t win that often
Pro: We don’t have to pack up and travel for every holiday/family occasion/special event/Costco trip/outdoor swimming, etc. etc. etc.
Con: I still seem to live in my car. But seriously. If you can’t find me, check Lindsey Road.
Pro: Every restaurant imaginable. It’s like I’ve died and gone to foodie heaven. I can taste Gecko Grill in my sleep.
Con: When I’m 500lbs next year, don’t expect a card.
Con: We miss the green chili and alfredo fries at Fratellis.
Pro: We can more easily pronounce Collin’s schoolmates’ names now.
Con: We will miss Haazam, Nouga, Iyesh. (And truly, all the culture we were surrounded by!)
Pro: Beautifully landscaped roads, parks and businesses.
Con: Not living in the shadow of the gorgeous red rocks.
Pro: We finally own a practice!
Con: Just ask our friend, Chase. And by friend, I mean bank. It has all our money.
Pro: I can take my kids to the park by myself without fear of harm, drunks or hookah smoking teenagers!
Con: The hookah was pretty educational.
Con: My live, object lessons for the Word of Wisdom are gone.
All kidding aside (and hoping no one was offended in the making of this card ) this move was equal parts exciting and difficult. We’ve learned that with each experience in life, there are treasured memories along with the rough patches. We are truly grateful for all of it. Now here’s to hoping that soon we’ll have a permanent address so you don’t have to ask us every year what our new one is. ;)
All our love,

The Evans
