During the lazy days of summer, we like to....
Go to the beach on cloudy days!
For Memorial Day last Monday, we persisted in a beach trip, even though as we drove out we were blanketed in big, ugly dark clouds. (I was so cranky about it).Thankfully, after about 20 min, they cleared out and we enjoyed a toasty bake in the sun. The water was still icy, (like, make your feet numb if you stand in it 2 min.-kind- of-icy) but that didn't stop our crazy #1. He would wade in neck deep and all I could think is, "Poor Trav is going to have to get in that frigidness if he goes under". Luckily, he kept his balance. On the way home I was happier than I had been in a long time. I think I was high on sun.
Get our hair cut!
Weston got his first trimmy trim trim last week and I think he looks mighty fine. I feel like at least one of my boys always either needs a hair cut or their nails trimmed. And by "boys" I'm including Trav..except for the nails part... he does that all by himself! :) Why do hair and nails grow so darn fast? Does the warmth contribute?
Play together!
Ok, maybe not so much, but on occasion they are able to "interact". Collin still loves Weston and I can tell he is just giddy to be able to play with him as soon as possible.
Collin is obsessed with firemen. In this picture should be a book we accidently took home from the church about firemen. I read it to him multiple times a day per his request. He loves to watch Fireman Sam, wear the hat and play with the fire trucks. He also repeatedly informs me that he sees fire trucks when we drive by the Clevehill firestation. It happens to be right behind our house so that is another daily occurrence.
Suck on our fingers!
It's funny to me that he hasn't found his thumb yet. I've even tried to help him, but he gets this confused look, then reverts back to the fingers. Whatev.
No finger sucking here.. just my cute little man ready for church!
Crochet!
I'm still plugging away at burp cloths....
Watch Bachelorette!
Oh my, this is entertaining. And as usual, we are treated to a villain. A particularly juicy one at that... and Mormon to boot! Thank you Bentley for alllowing America hate you while similtaneously loving your evil swagger. Last night was so sad for Ashley, but his interviews were completely hysterical. "There was a lot of crying and kissing. Kissing her neck since I was there a lot. Mwah mwah!" Bahahaha. I wasn't sure whether to laugh or feel sorry for his soul. So I did both!

I would have to say the best was "She hopped up on me with her legs wrapped around me so we were in the best position for some awesome @#$%..." "ha.ha.ha." I actually loved when Ashley mocked his laugh while he was consolling her after the roast. His must have one proud mamma out there somewhere.
"I'm gonna make Ashley cry, just hope my hair looks good." It was funny watching it because I loved everything he said. I was seriously dying. I'm sad he's gone it won't be as fun but he's a (fill in the blank). Personally, I like JP he reminds me of one of the guys from 10 things I hate about you. So other than the bachelorette I love seeing pictures of Weston! Collin and his fireman obsession is too cute. And I love the sunglasses he is rockin in the beach picture. OH and your new header on your blog is so fun!
I agree with Marcie, your header is way cute. Your boys are adorable & it's fun to see pics of them together. Your hats turned out so stinkin cute! Way to go lady. Oh, Bentley, Bentley! I too am going to miss his interviews. He always knew just how to make a perfect fool out of himself. :)
Those hats are super cute!! I feel like I'm trimming nails every other day, so I hear ya there.
whAT THE CRAP! yOU CROCHET? HOLY HANNAH. YOU ARE ONE TALENTED MOTHA! tHEY LOOK FANTASTIC. i AM JUST BEGINNING THE BACHELORETTE {ON HULU} i CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR HIS INTERVIEWS. :)
sORRY, THIS IS ALL CAPS, I AM TOO LAZY TO REACH OVER AND PRESS THE UNCAPS KEY. YOU UNDERSTAND, RIGHT?
HAPPY SUMMER.
I can't believe how cute those beanies are!! You are so crafty. I learned a long time ago to crochet around burp cloths, but with fuzzy material and not the "hard" way like you.
I'm being induced so I don't have a baby bigger than Gage. My Dr is also away on vaca the week I'm due, and it's nice to have the stability of a date to give my Mom and Adam.
I love the collage of pictures in the header.
Love the pictures of the boys. I'm glad that you got some sun. Love the crocheted hats, especially the girly one. What can you say about Bentley that hasn't already been said. What a fine speciman of a human being much less a Mormon.
Oh, and your burp cloths look great!
