What a Beautiful Day!

I'm Baaaaaack! Spring Break sure is wonderful, but it's also a routine breaker. We had oodles of fun and I have even more oodles of pictures. And I don't think that made sense, but anyway, it goes without saying that if I haven't blogged in over 10 days, you can count on upcoming posts that are longer than you care to read! And that will come. We spent the first three days of Trav's break in Boston, then had one blissful, springy day before my brother flew in from Switzerland. It was also my baby's birthday on Saturday...... so ya, lots of happenings going on. But for now lets revisit that springy day. It was like ridiculous. In a good way. It hit 60 degrees. Sunny. Snow melting.
Our car (that we JUST paid off... mini hooray) is being naughty and needed a 4 wheel alignment. Trav drove it in to the shop then jogged home so he wouldn't have to bother anyone for a ride. I was sweatin' to the oldies (not really) in the basement on the elliptical when he got home. That was, until he ushered my tanless bod outside to soak up that Sheryl Crow sun. 3 miles later and I had become readdicted to my Vitamin D friend. Even if it meant I had to smell like {outside}. The Shaws stopped by after their run and Rach and I rolled up our pants and parked our booties on the driveway- face to the rays. Ahhhh. Heavenly.
Later, Trav and I took a walk to the Dollar Store. Another hooray for a dollar store within walking distance! Wait. It gets better. There's an outdoor Dairy Queen on the way. Yep. Two dipped cones later, the day was only getting better. If you see some red on Collin's cheek, that's cherry dipped goodness, not blood.

There was a house in my parents neighborhood that always had a tree full of hanging Easter eggs during March and April. I loved looking at that tree. It reminded me of the wonderful lady that hung them and the wonderful new season coming. So I decided to copy cat. I hope Dana doesn't mind.

One last hooray for Easter, chocolate dipped cones, warmer weather, tanning buddies, $1 goods, and SuNsHiNe!

The egg tree should be a new tradition. The pictures of your house make me actually think that it MIGHT be spring in buffalo. No snow in sight. Although we hit 85 degrees here today {oh blessed 80's} I am thrilled you got some 60's...and some sun...and a dipped cone from DQ.
I heart spring.

Collin looks so grown up. It looks like he has more hair too, maybe that's why. I think it's funny that you guys run together. Pretty sure Casey would run circles around me and ditch me and my slow, weak sauce legs. oh wait, you already know that! Your egg tree is cute. Dana hasn't delivered yet, I am getting sad
