So tonight I recorded my first ever radio interview! Pretty exciting for my ho hum life. :) I guess the church buys 1/2 hour of air time each week and my friend, Megan's, calling is to host interviews for that 1/2 hour every month or so. This week's topic was about the youth programs in the church. Since I'm in the YW presidency and have served in YW for three years now, she thought I would suffice.
This is just what the outside of the recording studios looked like. I know I'm lame, but you should know by now that I take pictures of everything!

Here is our hostess with the mostess, Megan! Isn't she cute?! She's pretty professional too. She hosted a show in Hawaii called Talkin' Stories with Megan and even worked in L.A. for a while on Hollywood sets like Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
So, I was stinkin' nervous, but it all turned out ok. The program is 28 minutes long and will air on WJYE 96.1 on Sunday morning at 6am. I know, way too early to be up or expect anyone else to be up listening either. But I will be! :) I'll probably be videotaping the radio too haha. I thought it would air on some obscure a.m. station, so it is kinda cool that it's on 96.1. That's a station we listen to all the time anyway. I'll consider it my 15 minutes of "fame". :)

WoW! A celeb in the family. I wish I could listen or that you could video tape it. I am sure you did a wonderful job because that is who you are. Kudos to you! Can't wait to see you in a month!

I think it was actually 28 minutes of fame,that is way better than 15 minutes of fame. That is rad. I would've been super nervous.
