So I was looking through old pictures and found some that we had taken of our house when we bought it in February. Surprisingly there's not much snow on the ground. It has a second story and a basement. After the pain of packing, I'm thinking we might just stay and raise our family in NY. Just think, our kids could be bad drivers, speak with an accent, and throw a killer snowball! :)
This is the master bedroom. Note- no ceiling fan! :( Trav has promised to install one.
This is one side of the basement. It is partially finished. The unfinished part is where the washer and dryer will go. I always compare it to the Home Alone part where Kevin is afraid of the basement. That will be me. I already hate doing laundry. Now I have to go into a dark, scary basement! We will be dropping a lot of money on new clothes. :) In this pic Trav is meeting with the home inspector.
This is the upstairs bathroom. Tiny, but remodeled. We are just so happy to have two bathrooms! It's the weirdest thing, but homes out there usually only have one bathroom, no matter how big they are. ????
Here is the living room! Nice right? Well its not our furniture. When we move in there will be a tiny t.v. and no couches or cute decorations. :)
I can't tell you how happy I am to have a REAL kitchen! The one we've used for the past two years was more like a closet. If you opened the dishwasher, you were trapped!

Shelley, is that really all you had to say =) I love your house, way cute. Have my room ready for when I come to visit!! =)
you guys know I am kidding. Your house is very cute. Leah, let's share a room!!
Cute house! We love living in our first house too. (Too bad it only has 1 bathroom like all the other houses you were talking about.) We're gonna miss seeing you guys at all the family stuff. Keep posting pics so we can be updated:)
I know I'm commenting a lot, but there's so much to catch up on. Your blog is adorable, I'll need some advice on mine soon. You're house looks awesome and yes I'm jealous you have two full bathrooms. Ours is only going to be 1 1/2 and that was good for us to find, crazy how hard it is to find them like that.
Stephanie, I am so glad that you commented on my blog! I will definitely add your link to my blog & check up on you! NY sounds exciting...I can't wait to hear all about your life there! By the way, I've actually been thinking about you a lot lately...I don't think I ever thanked you for the letter you sent when Jackson died. Seriously, you'll never know how much that meant to me. You're the best!
Stephanie!! I think it is a very cute house. Dave and I were... still are... concidering NY as an option for after Dave graduates... so who knows... we might actually end up in the same state together after all... :) Ha Ha!
Your house looks great, I hope that you love being there. We miss you already. I hope that you have water when you get there, and I hope we get to see you soon. Let me know the next time you are come visit.
