So that Friday night that we got home from the Ugly Sweater party, we brought all the presents down and got the living room set up for CHRISTMAS in the morning!! The boys had no idea. We decided not to tell them in hopes of preventing any 5am wake ups. Worked like a charm. We've NEVER had Christmas at home before so I was really excited about this. No more hauling EVERYTHING to Mesa! And it couldn't have gone better! I loved everything about it. It just felt so cozy and comfortable in our own home with just our little family. And the boys were a blast to watch opening their presents. So much excitement and jaw drops and exclamations of "WOWWW Thanks Mom and Dad!!!" It was perfect.
Olive got herself a Cozy Coupe... first one we've ever had!
With Megan's template and help, I made a Priesthood Line of Authority for Trav. Just didn't have enough time to get it framed.
:( He also got a saw which was indicative of tools in general that he needs to go buy himself! And a book. I do books as stocking gifts.
The boys got a pretty nifty castle to share.
Collin got a bow and arrow... his most asked for gift! And loved the mini Ninja Turtle figurines.
And Weston only ever asked for a Might Mega Monster Truck or motorcycle when Christmas got brought up. So a remote control quad it was!
Weston also got a black Spiderman "doll". ;) And Collin got a Captain America one.
I got to snuggle my baby and her new, silky blanket!
She also got a grocery cart. Time to start shoppin', Olive! :)
I made sausage, biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Then they played with their toys, while I packed us up for Arizona! We left around 12:30pm. It was a wonderful, pretend Christmas morning!
