Marcie's Bridal Shower

So, as life goes, Marcie Moo Moo, decides to get married, one month after I have a baby.
Dates for 5 years.... gets married at my prime fat time. Cuz it's all about me, huh?! :) I had to remind myself that at least I wasn't still in New York! So, I'll be grateful I was just 4 hours away and had a husband that was willing to drive with me, 2 weeks after having a baby, to go to Mesa for her bridal shower. Shelley and I got to do it together and it was a lot of fun!
(As you can see!)

We had it at our Aunt MaryAnn's house and the food is making me drool all over again. It's all about the FOOD!! Oh, and Marcie. Hehe.
There was an awesome turn out and she got lots of fun gifts! Including a little somethin' somethin' from me that she couldn't quite figure out how to hold up. Kind of a puzzle, that string of floss and bit of lace was. :)

Miss Olive got to meet the rest of the family on this trip, for the first time! My favorite moment was Shelley jumping up and down and squealing, coming out of the garage door, just to meet her. It is so fun that we both have girls now! Let the bow making commence!

I thought I caught Grandma and Olive taking a nap together.
Just kidding! Only Olive was asleep. :)
It's always a circus when the boy cousins get to play together.

After church on Sunday, Grandma Ann and Grandpa Jess tracked us down at the Evans' house. They just couldn't wait to meet Olive. I have to say that this was one of the sweetest moments of my life, watching my grandparents meet her. This picture is such a tender I'm so grateful for them and my Great Grandma Evans. I've been so blessed by their examples and love. My baby has an amazing line of women to learn from. I'm so grateful for righteous family and a strong heritage. What a gift.

You are never allowed to say that you have a "fat time" again--you look awesome! I can't believe you had just had a baby two weeks previous!

I love that your sister jumped up and down when she met Olive. Sisters are the best.
