If you haven't seen the video of that guy flipping out over seeing a double rainbow, all the way across...
You Tube it.
I totally get him now. We're pretty much BFF's.
When I was walking out of Lowe's and saw this (it's faint, but there is another one on top), I totally freaked out. I was in a huge hurry, but still had to stop and try and take a picture. It was a moment. :)
Collin likes to put on my clothes. I don't know what's up with the tough guy face though.
Which reminds me....
The other day he noticed Trav grimacing over his hair and asked him what was wrong. Trav said he was losing his hair. Collin asked why. He said, "Because I'm getting old." To which Collin related, "Like Mommy?!".
Ugh.
I'm fully aware that this disclosure could get us reported to CPS. But please, don't.
Collin's door doesn't have a lock. And in his worst moods, no threats will keep him in there. Hence, Trav's remedy. Man, we are good parents.
Last week, at the museum, the craft was stamping with apples. I was helping Collin when I turned back around and saw Weston had helped himself to a snack. Oops.
Lucky for him, the activity at the end was running through the field on an "apple hunt". It was so interesting to me that those apples absolutely made their morning.
It kept them occupied for quite some time and they ate them to the cores. Go fig. I mean, ap.
Last time playing at the splash pad! Fall weather is definitely underway.
Makes me miss Buffalo. It's actually been a really weird feeling to have the weather turn colder and not see all the pretty trees down Mapleview. I feel out of place.
We went to the PAT House (Parent's as Teachers) last week and Collin found a new {Spiderman} costume! :) Ooo la la! Very masculine, Spidy.
Licking the spoon is always the best part about helping Mom in the kitchen.
Another craft from the museum.
Pictures like this might honestly make parenting worth it.

So much to say! That last picture? Hilarious! Your fig/ap joke had me laughing out loud. You & I have the same sense of humor. Mine is very under appreciated. I hope you get more appreciation for yours. ;) And seriously, we tie Kylee's door shut with a tie-down too! We tie one end to her doorknob and the other to a railing though. She responds by kicking the door as hard as she can and screaming our names. I'm sure our neighbors think that we are fabulous parents. Maybe it's a good thing that they don't have CPS here. :)
OK I'm so happy you posted! I have an excuse for never posting since I'm not married and don't have kids but YOU missy need to keep me updated! :) No worries I won't call cps especially since 2 of the families I sit for have the exact same thing rigged up to keep their kids in their rooms. If I was Weston I would have totally thought the apples were meant to eat, and the brown paint was chocolate to dip it in! We totally did that easter bunny craft with my kindergarten class last year it was hilarious. Like you just can't help but laugh and they have no clue how ridiculous they look!
Love all the randomness! I can't stop giggling at Collin aka Little Bunny FooFoo. haha! Best craft ever. And the double rainbow is hilarious! I told Doug about the tie-downs on the doors & we both got quite the laugh about it cuz it's so something we would do. :) In fact, I had to tie the fridge doors together today because Gavin keeps helping himself. Arg! I bet daddy dentist is glad his boys are munching on apples! XOXO
