Remember that political website I mentioned a while back? Well, little ol' me is now a founder! I know this significately reduces the legitmacy of the site, but oh well. :) The idea is to have each of the 14 founders, post once every two weeks. So far, I'm the only girl founder, which increased my anxiety about posting, but I did my first article on Thursday. I'll be posting every other Thursday and if you're interested, I'll include a link on the blog. At the very least, I learned a lot by doing this and by being a founder, it will make me more diligent on trying to stay current with what's going on in Washington.

Great Islam post, Steph! Before going to Israel this summer, I have to admit that I knew almost NOTHING about the religions and conflicts of the Middle East. Being in the Holy Land for two weeks helped a lot (I now feel like I actually understand NPR), but I still have so much to learn! Thanks!
I think the CIDOA site is such a great idea! I will be checking it out frequently. I have a question: Are any of the Founders democrats? I never know where I stand politically--sometimes I am totally republican, and sometimes I am more democrat--but I just love to hear both sides, and sometimes it seems like all that I hear (especially from my LDS friends) is the radical conservative perspective.
I admire you for getting engaged in such a great cause! I need to be better informed about current events and government!!

Second, very well written. I never understood the difference between Islam and Muslim. You explained it very well.
Since I am a loser and don't know much about this I will comment about your last post since I never did. So I love how you always have Collin sitting on a blanket when he's on the floor. I must be a bad mom cuz Im pretty sure I don't do that. More laundry to wash. You look cute in that pic with Rachel. I think you have gotten skinnier since christmas. Oh and whats with you guess not coming to CA and going to UT instead?!
