Not to fret... I'm still here! As I looked back on my ONE picture from this week, I realized why I haven't been blogging... this is the most exciting thing that's happened to me:
Much to my utter delight, I found while grocery shopping that Wegman's switched from styrofoam egg containers, to cardboard!!! This was serious good news folks. I could have jumped for joy. I HATE the squeaky noise that styrofoam makes. Ugh. It sends shivers up my spine and goose bumps over my arms. I'd rather listen to nails on a chalkboard. Pulling the eggs out of the fridge is a major chore, tying to extricate them without having it squeak on the glass. But no longer! I am squeaky free! Perhaps it sheds light on my sad life, that this was truly a momentous day.
Other than that picture, I did have video of Collin basking in the bliss of a Baby Einstein video. Grandma gave it to him for Christmas and we've just busted it out. Now, I've heard that these brilliant videos are proven to make your child {more dumb}, but I'll take the risk, cuz this guy eats it up! He came down with a cold last Wednesday that made both our lives less than pleasant, but at least Baby Einstein provided a few moments of relief. (And seriously, I needed some relief..... remember "the worst noise in the world" from Dumb and Dumber? Collin literally makes that exact noise. Over. and over. and over. All day really. I love my child.)We've also stocked up on many more {Kidsongs} dvd's, thanks to a great deal on Woot, so we are on our way to {Teaching the World to Sing} and {Riding the Rollercoaster}! These videos are from the 80's and bring back oh so great childhood memories. Any of you remember them?!

Ha ha, I totally remember those videos...and I'm pretty sure it was from watching them at your house! :)
Im with you 100%; Styrofoam and cotton balls are horrible. My kids think its the most awesome thing to scratch styrofoam packaging and make "snow". *shudder*
Ahhh, the simple things! Also, the cardboard egg cartons are recycleable...I am not a tree hugger, but that leaves me more room in my garbage can for everything else. YES!!!
Kid songs = Rad 80's fun
Sorry about the unhappy sickness days. Bah! Can you please make a video of the "most annoying sound in the world"...I need to hear it.
I am sorry Collin has been sick, no fun for mom or baby. I loved the video of my cute little guy. I love his laugh. Missing you all, I'm jealous of Marcus getting to come out again! Love to all!
We should all be characters from Kidsongs for Halloween this year. We've got Mr. World, Old MacDonald, the biggles. Oh, we can't forget the candy man:)
Awesome! Sorry little man hasn't been feeling great. Glad you found something to give you a few moments of relief. :) I love the video!
I honestly couldn't believe how excited you were about the egg cartons! You are the best! You crack me up! Love it!
I am totally with you on the excitment with Wegmans new egg cartons. I almost squealed with excitment at the grocery store when I saw it. It gives me chills when I hear the squeaking. bleh!
You're funny, period. We did buy a treadmill about a year before we moved out here. It's saved my life with these winters, and last year's pregnancy. The hills KILL my knees and I get out of breathe so fast. I am lucky that I have a great sleeper, but I am WAY surprised to hear that Collin only takes one really short nap at his age. Pax doesn't necessarily show signs all of the time of being tired, it's just part of his routine and he goes down well. Gage doesn't really take naps anymore and it's nice to have more one on one time with him.
