Gilbert Road Dental Care

When Travis and Quin bought Kevin Cook's practice they were thrilled about how large the office was, BUT they knew it would need a major overhaul. I can't even imagine how much work this was for them. So many decisions. So much money invested. Fred Ashby was their contractor and he was wonderful. They hired an interior designer, Rachel Ellis, and she did a phenomenal job. It looks so modern and classy and high-end. It took longer than expected, but they finally moved in, in February. There were still workers finishing the job after they merged, but they couldn't wait any longer. Now, the physical office amazing, but getting three different offices of women to work together??? Not so amazing. Poor Trav. He came home from work for weeks looking so exhausted. There were some significant growing pains. They had to let some women go, others quit. Then covid hit. For how frustrating it was to not be able to work, the silver lining was that it gave everyone a break. A step back. A breath. I'm writing this in October and there are still a lot of hiccups and positions needing to be filled. There are still unhappy employees and problems to figure out, but it's definitely better than the beginning of the year!
I, for one, still gawk every time I go into the office. I want to live there. I just walk around, stroking the counters, gazing at the furniture and imagining my house looking like this. The receptionists may hate each other, but I'd take their job in a heart beat. ;)

And yes, those are REAL, dead animals all over the office. Dr. Cook was a proud hunter. So refreshing taking this 90's office into the current century.

They still need to get the outside landscaped, but it's in the works.

They just got this new sign behind the check-in desk and I LOVE IT.
