Flagstaff

It was so good to see Travis again! I could hardly get the car in park fast enough to go tackle him! I missed him soooo much! We should have taken a reunited picture.

Oh Tanner, boy! Sure loved the new freedom of peeing on trees, haha.
I can't remember the exact order of everything, but we thoroughly enjoyed our week together! We spent two different days at Lake Mary. The first day was warm and great, but the second day was windy and cold! We went to the bike park twice and praise the heavens, no one crashed too badly. Weston and Collin really love this place. Weston could use a little more fear, I think. One of the families brought a Rainbow Loom so the kids were obsessed with making bracelets and anklets. Luckily, the rec center let us make reservations to swim at least once a day for 3-4 hours. I was afraid it would be completely closed. So we did the usual mini golf, hot tubbing and swimming there. One night, all the adults got take out and ate together and Wayne and Paula's house then played games. Most nights we would congregate there with our ice cream and visit or play games. It's so nice not having a baby to worry about anymore!

Tanner gets comments on his towel robe wherever we go! Paired with his leopard swim suit, we call him "Heffy"... ya know... Hugh Heffner. Such good parents we are.

I snuck away one morning for my favorite acai bowl from Local Juicery. I had a cute date too.

All the Evans' Easter activities were canceled back in April when Covid was still a concern, so Grandma brought them up to Flagstaff instead. Easter in July! The grandkids had an egg hunt, then we did an egg bask. Collin WON! His egg said "Covid stinks" and had a mask on it. We all agree! Haha!

Always a ham.
The weather really cooled off towards the end of the week and we weren't complaining.

Isn't this the wildest pictures?! A trail of skunks right in front of Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Really love this week of family time! Grateful that Travis's parents provide this for us each summer.
