Tea Party

This girly, little outing basically turned into a photo op, so it gets its own post! 

Camilla and Posey invited us to a tea party with them! They supplied the amazing party hats (Do you like my hat?!-- Excerpt from Go Dog Go) and made the reservation at a place in Scottsdale called Arcadia Farms. 

I was feeling a tad overwhelmed and stressed (hello, it's December!) but ended up being so glad they organized this! It was ADORBS (and if you know me, you know it takes a lot for me to use that made up word.)

The tea cups and place settings were so cute. I loved all the finger foods, but most especially the lemon curd tartlet!! Yasssss! Actual TART tarts are my jam. Hehe, see what I did there?

Olive was DIGGIN' it. I could tell she felt like such a lady. Wearing lipstick... putting her pinkies up and everything. The saddest part was that Posey was not so cooperative. She did not want to smile, taste or touch ANYTHING. Poor Camilla! She had planned and orchestrated this whole afternoon and I suppose the pressure was just too much for Posey. Didn't seem to affect Olive much though! She was excited to try all of it! That's my girl! I think she ate the entire plate of lemon iced cookies. Truthfully, I'm not much of an herbal tea lover, but when you stir in that crystallized sugar stick... suddenly it's delicious! Hahaha.

 Yep, these are the days I'm especially glad I got in the "girl" line in heaven. ;)
