This morning Weston was casted for his helmet at Great Lakes Orthodics in Women's and Children's hospital.
Step one: Look like a shepherd getting ready to visit baby Jesus!
He was all giggles and smiles for this part.
Step two was not as pleasant. He screamed and cried and broke my heart. I took one other picture, but I can't post it because it makes me too sad to look at it. At least it was over quick (about 7min.) and he was happy the second the plaster came off. About a week to wait now for the helmet!

He does look so cute in his little shepards outfit. What a little trooper. When did he get qualified to get the helmet. Your mom said that they wanted to do therapy first. I'm glad that he got approved. He will look so cute as a football player.
So I didn't think it had been THAT long since I'd checked your blog, but then I get on here and I'm behind on like 100 posts!! Guess my life is crazier than I thought:) Cute little Weston in his little outfit. He is such a sweet baby. I still need to get Mason in to see the doctor and have his checked out again. Every time I see posts on Weston's head, I get more anxiety about Mason haha. But I have to wait on our dang insurance to go through and it's driving me crazy! I get a little homesick for the Buff when I see all the fun things you guys are doing. Summer and fall time are the best there. So many fun things to do/places to visit. Megan and I have played around with the idea of coming out to visit in the fall...we'll see though...miss you guys!! And why do I always have to write a novel in my comments? So sorry.
Wow, it's happening! Winston gets to join the helmet club! He will rock it. Glad that its free too. Find somebody with a vinyl machine to design some things to stick on it. Or, you can have everybody sign their names like a cast. Yes, I think you should do that:)
:( break my heart! He looks so cute and happy in the first pictures tho... It'll be interesting to see it when it's all done. YAY for insurance covering it by the way what a relief for you guys! Oh and I'm thinking perhaps a picture of me and Shelley should go on the front of it?? Ya know, no big deal just to remind Collin every time he looks at Sir. Winston's helmet who his favorite aunts are :)
He is so cute in that picture, but the one where they are casting it sure looks sad. Glad they're covering it!
He looks so cute! I'm so glad the process was quick :)
He is such a cutie! I'm glad your insurance is covering it.
I want you to take a picture of his flat head. Rubi has a little bit of a flat head too...you make me worry that I am not worried enough. I want to see how flat his head is. He is such a pretty baby. His eyes are so amazing!
The pictures really took me back to when Gage was going through the same thing. His head is only slightly more flat than Gage's so I'm glad it is covered by insurance. Did you still have to drive to Jersey for it or is it nearby? I'm with Crescent that I didn't realize how far behind I was with reading blogs until I went on yours. Sorry.
